June

So, here are some of the fun things we did in June;

Every summer we go to the Gateway and play in the fountains and visit Adam (his office is right up the stairs from the fountains.)
All I remember was that I was VERY pregnant and it was VERY hot.

Hailey (in the blue suit)

Madison in her pink tu-tu suit.

                                                  Logan

                                         Maggie (in the polka-dots)

Hailey turned 11! Can you believe that?! Eleven! One more year and she'll be in young women's.
She's becoming a very beautiful, educated, witty young woman indeed.

Here she is with all of her presents.

She wanted books, so that's what she got.

We made blueberry birthday muffins for breakfast.

She had a picnic themed party. We ate hot dogs and soda and played games at the park. It was fun (and cheap which was her idea. Cheap party = more money for presents...books)

Adam has casually mentioned two dozen times or so how much he'd like to have a nice big old-fashioned ice cream maker, so for Fathers Day, that's exactly what he got. And boy, did he break it in! He even took it camping and made ice cream with the hand crank!
(the yellow hat is from the Eagle Mountain City Parade...see pictures below)

Logan and Maggie played baseball for the first year. Logan loved it of course.

Maggie's coach said he was impressed with how good she was for her first year. She said she likes soccer better though, because there is too much standing around, waiting in baseball.

Madison at the Eagle Mountain City Pony Express Days Parade.

Our neighbor Sophie with Maggie. Sophie is an honorary member of the family. She is at our house a lot.
Logan and our other neighbor Johnathan.

Hailey's dance teacher had her classes march in the parade. Hailey is to the right of the balloons, waving.

...and enter the stupid AWESOME yellow hats......

Hailey's dance team also performed at the Pony Express Days carnival. She is front left in blue.

(second from the left)

She loves to take Jazz. It's funny though because every time I put her make up on, Madison would cry and say she had "scary eyes".
(I think her eyes are very pretty)

Her class also competed at The National Dance competition in May at Lagoon. they took second place in their division.
