Every October after the final session of conference my family drives up to Millcreek Canyon to shake leaves off the Aspen (Quakie) trees. This is a tradition my Grandmother started with my Mom when she was little and lived just minutes from the canyon.
Afterward, we eat donuts and cookies and have hot chocolate and cider.
It's really the start of fall for us.
Matt's first Quakie shake. :)
(he is now part of the family)
This canyon is so beautiful.
We dangle our legs out the windows while we wait to pay and get out of the canyon..... I don't really know why, but we have PLENTY of silly traditions like this. :)
